On-Line Registration until Friday September 22 at noon or race day registration 20 minutes prior. 

The cross races are part of the Virginia CX (VACX) points series. Prices for entry are based on Individual races.
*Series Winners must preregister and email me with your Category.
If you expect a call up you need to pre-register
 

NO mail-ins and NO refunds. Race day registration will be $30 except for Jr’s, Cat 4 Wm and extra races.Race Day registration for Dirt Crit is $20First race full price all extra category races are $10.00. ***for the same event. We have Three different events. Second race for Dirt Crit is $8. 
 
Field limit is for total number of racers on the course at one time, not by age group or category,(except juniors). 
i.e. all racers in the 11:30-11:32 stat times will have the total field limit of 60. 

Event day registration opens at 8:30 am

Event held under USAC permit. USAC rules apply. All Riders must have a USAC license. USAC one-day license can be purchased at the event. The Race Director and Race Officials reserve the right to cancel and/or modify segments of the event as deemed necessary for safety. There is no rain date for this event. Severe weather may cancel race.

Directions: From Tidewater I 64E to 58 West, past Franklin, Exit at route 35 (south) toward Boykin, 26177 Meherrin Road, approximately 3 miles on the left, there will be signs and Parking will be marked.

From Richmond: Take route 35 (south),cross over route 58 toward Boykin, 26177 Meherrin road, approximately 3 miles on the left, there will be signs and Parking will be marked.

From Emporia Side: Take route 58 East to Boykin Exit on route 35 and turn right (south), 26177 Meherrin Road, approximately 3 miles on the left, there will be signs and Parking will be marked.

Course descriptions:

Saturday Cross Race, most of the same as last year, hills, grass and woods another wooded section, some steps and dirt rollovers.

Saturday Dirt Crit, mostly flat dirt/low grass wide course. Short track. NOTE: The dirt crit is for FUN. It is run with 3-5 laps to start depending on the number of racers. Following those laps which are predetermined at the start of each race, it is “miss and out”. 

Sunday, reverse of Saturday.

Accommodations are as followes: 

There are several hotel/motels within 12 minutes to the course. They are located in Franklin and Courtland. (listed below is contact information and prices quoted for the race) There are more hotels in Emporia, VA- 30 minutes away to the west on 58. We plan to have a food vendor for the event as well but don’t know if we can get them to stay overnight.

CAMPING: There wil be camping allowed for participants and their families on the farm in designated area, campers must pre-register to reserve space but camping is free. Campers must be 21 years of age to register, only register one time for one site NOT eash person at that site.  Campers must abide by owners request of no open fires and to please use restroom facilities provided. There will be a shower provided in the old farmhouse for campers to use as well. BRING YOUR OWN DRINKING WATER, rubber boots or flip flops will be wanted for early Sunday morning-there is a good amount of dew on the ground.

Franklin Hotel/Motels: located approximately 12 minutes from race, also a Super Walmart, gas and Farm Fresh, several fast food places and some other resturants.
